Woke up at 8, helped clean up the Hook and Horn (we had to be out by noon), we ended up driving away at about 10:20.
I followed Grandpa and Grandma on US-10 to Bay City, we stopped at McDonald’s on the way for lunch.
By 2:45 I was in Grosse Pointe. The Impala got almost 35 mpg on the trip – from airport to Baldwin to Grosse Pointe all on one tank. Impressive for such a large car.
The old WiFi stuff I’d sent wasn’t up and running when I got there, so I fiddled with it for a while and decided it was terminally broken. I bought a new Belkin wireless router which worked great for $42 from Staples. Then I was able to backpost yesterday’s entry as well as some pictures (Kate and Dick took most of them) from the whole experience.
We had spaghetti for dinner, which I think I’m having again at Grandma and Grandpa Cera’s house tomorrow, and which I also had when Grandma Jacques made dinner on Wednesday. I’m getting all my pasta eating in when Cynthia’s not around I guess.
Tomorrow, we prep for the sailing, trip and I think I’ll go to Louis’s baseball game as well as visit G&G Cera.
