Been Busy

I promise to update this thing more than once every season, but it’s been a big couple of months for Cynthia and me – we bought a house in Folsom (for my socially conservative readers, she’s not living there until October). I’ve made a virtual tour for those of you unable to stop by personally. It’s a great feeling to come home to and work on a your own house every day, even though in reality the bank owns 95% of it.

I turned 26 on Saturday – now officially closer to 30 than 20. Many old friends called me on my birthday, and all we could say was “What happened?”. It seems like yesterday I was an 18 year old freshman, living in the dorm and trying to figure out where the beer was, and now I’m a gainfully employed, nearly married, suburban homeowner. All that’s left is to spawn 2.5 children and die. Ugh.

In other news, our friends Megan and Aaron (see wine tasting and wedding) are modern hippies and sell the soap that they make in their kitchen. It’s good stuff, and they have a website at
www.truebodysoap.com
. Though the magic of the Internet, this link, regardless of whether you click on it, will make them more popular in the search engines.
